Company Bio:
Sphere does both contract product development and prototyping for customers, including circuit board design, plus can provide ongoing design and development assistance for many areas.



Specialized equipment:
Sphere has a very wide range of electronic and optical test equipment and support parts for that equipment. Available items include analog and digital oscilloscopes, AC and DC voltmeters, power supplies, calibration standards, high precision reference components, generators, and counters, atomic clock and GPS slaved frequency standards. Optical equipment includes an optical spectrum analyzer, and a spectro-radiometer is now being added.


Laboratory or testing facilities:
Sphere has a Tenny Jr. temperature chamber, and both medium (benchtop) and small (portable) TEM cells for RF emissions and susceptibility testing. Sphere can also provide short term rental and sale of many kinds of test equipment and standards for work in-house.




Fabrication capability or facilities:
Sphere does both contract product development and prototyping for customers, including circuit board design, plus can provide ongoing design and development assistance for many areas.




R&D support capability or Tools:
Sphere can provide many levels of product development and marketing assistance from concept to final hardware (no mechanical design), as well as help in debugging prototype products that are experiencing unexpected problems. Sphere also maintains a very large inventory of prototype parts and materials of all kinds.




Additional Comments:
Sphere is assisting a new firm (Avatar Metrology) now in the start up phase, that will provide fully accredited (17025) calibration facilities for Kelowna, for virtually all physical and electronic parameters. Full operation is expected within 6 months.
